Choose the right machine for the job

A short, manageable saw suits pruning and smaller logs, while regular felling and larger timber place greater demands on power, ergonomics and run time.

Compare the complete working setup

Compare petrol and battery as complete systems. Include battery and charger where required, or fuel, chain oil and routine service items for petrol operation.

Also consider handling over a full working session: vibration, balance, start and stop routines, transport and storage can matter as much as maximum output. Read the product specification and package contents for the exact model before purchase.

Plan maintenance from the start

Cleaning, inspection and wear-part replacement help the machine work as intended. Use the model designation and product number when choosing consumables or spare parts, because the brand and product family alone are not a compatibility check.
