How to choose the right chain and bar

A replacement chain must match the guide bar groove and the saw sprocket. For a 1/4″ mini, 1.1 mm setup, also check the number of drive links required by your bar. You can usually find these details on the bar or in the saw manual. When replacing the bar, confirm that its mount and oil holes fit the saw.

Do not confuse this setup with 1/4″ pitch at 1.3 mm gauge or 3/8″ mini pitch at 1.1 mm gauge. Neither is a direct substitute. Husqvarna SP11G uses a 3.5 mm round file. See our 2-in-1 filing guides for saw chains and choose one specified for SP11G.
