Use the specified product

Chain oil lubricates the bar and chain during cutting. It is not engine oil. Choose the viscosity and product type for the conditions and check that the lubrication system is feeding correctly.

Clean handling matters

Remove dirt around caps and grease points before opening them. Measure the required quantity, avoid mixing incompatible products and dispose of used oil and contaminated materials responsibly.

Confirm the machine details

Check the full model, engine type and product number. For service parts or fluids, the current operator manual is the controlling reference.

Record what was used and when it was changed. This prevents accidental mixing at the next service and makes it easier to buy the same approved specification again.
